Importing goods from China to Nigeria?

Proc360 simplifies the process, offering a transparent and efficient experience for small businesses.

This guide breaks down the typical timeline for each step, helping you understand your shipment's journey, considering both air and sea freight options from China to Nigeria

When you order from China with Proc360, how long it will take depends on four key factors:

1. Quotation: (How long it takes to quote your order?)

  • Link Order: You provide a link to a product online. Proc360 reviews it quickly and draws up a quotation typically within 8 hours.

  • Picture Order: You found an item with a picture but no link, sourcing takes an average of 3 days.

  • Custom Order: You need something special made. Defining, Sourcing, and Drafting the Quotation for a custom order takes an average of 5 days.

2. Production: (Is it Ready-In-Stock or Needs Production?)

  • In-Stock: If the item is already made and available with the seller, it's quicker! Proc360 doesn't need to wait for production.

  • Production Needed: If the item needs to be made from scratch, it'll take longer. The supplier typically needs 4-7 days to produce an item.

3. Procurement (5-7 Days Average):

This covers the time it takes Proc360 to process (purchase order, local delivery, packing and inspection) your order after the order has been paid for from your Proc360 wallet.

  • Purchasing the item from a supplier in China: Placing the order, paying and verifying the purchase usually takes 1-2 days depending on the complexity of the order

  • Receiving the item at Proc360's warehouse: The average delivery time for supplier to deliver your goods to the Proc360 warehouse is 2-4 days.

  • Inspecting the item to ensure quality: Inspection and packing takes 1 day and is done once all the expected parcels within your order arrives to your Proc360 warehouse

4. Shipment Method

Air Shipment

Price: $8 - $8.5 per kg which includes shipping and clearance

This is the quickest way to get your goods, but also the most expensive. Your air shipment can be one of two types:

  • Normal Goods: These are regular items with no import/export restrictions and take 7 days to arrive by air.

  • Special Goods: These are items with restrictions (like batteries, food and drugs, cosmetics, liquid, glass, and so on.

See full list of restricted goods here.

Special goods take 14-21 days by air due to additional customs regulatory checks.

Sea Shipment

Price: $300- $400 per CBM which includes shipping and customs clearance

This is the cheapest option, but it takes the longest. On average, it takes 65-90 days by sea but with Proc360 it will only take 45-60 days
